UPDATE: January 25, 2012 - There are currently 206 active listings in the Livingston County MLS, ranging in price from $28,900-$299,900.  There are 18 more properties "Sale Pending" in the county, but only 6 of those are over 100K, and only 1 of those over $149,900.  In Pontiac we have 86 active listings in the MLS, 9 Sale Pending, and only 3 of those are over 100K.  It has been extremely active with buyers this month for the lower price range properties, but still very few looking in the upper price ranges.

UPDATE: January 14, 2012 - For the entier county in 2011, there were more homes sold in 2011 than 2010, however, the avg. selling price and avg. DOM were much worse than a year ago.  There were 239 homes sold through the MLS in 2011 compared to 231 in 2010.  The avg. selling price in 2011 was $98,197 compared to $108,919 in 2010, and the avg. DOM this past year was a whopping 195 compared to only 167 the year prior.
